Register Yacht in Seychelles

 

The vessel has to be less than 15 years old (i.e. if re-built no problem, this will state on the builder’s certificate).

There are the SMSA Government forms that need to filled in and submit together with the below listed documents:

• Coloured photo of the vessel

• Copy of the certificate of Registry

• Bill of sale (if a copy it must be a certified one)

• Builder’s certificate

• Declaration of ownership

• Deletion Certificate (I.e. only if vessel has been previously registered and NOT applicable to new building)

• Mortgage if any

• Proof of authorization by the person signing on behalf of owner

• Corporate documents (certified)

• Vessel to be approved by surveyor of SMSA or SMSA approved surveyor before registration.

• Complete request for call sin/ MMSI Form (vessel need to be registered first before issuing of Radio License).

The Payment are as follows:

INITIAL REGISTRATION OF VESSEL:

• Agent License – 2000.00 USD

• Registration Yacht  — Government Fee 2000.00 USD

• Telecommunication license – 850.00 USD

• MMSI Number (YACHT) CERTIFICATE  OF YACHT REGISTRATION – 400.00USD

TOTAL: 5250 USD

UPON YEARLY RENEWAL:

• Annual tonnage Fees (Yacht) – 600USD

• Annual Agent Fees (Yacht) – 600USD

• Telecommunication License Renewal – 400USD

TOTAL: 1600USD

EVERY 5 YEARS:

• Renewal of the ‘Registration Certificate’ – 1000.00 USD

DELETION OF VESSEL FROM REGISTRY:

• Certificate of Deletion – 1000.00 USD
